PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a terminal of a liquid level detector for enhancing sealability between the terminal and a covering part.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a terminal 54 that is embedded in a covering part 142 and transmits an electrical signal related to detection of a height of a liquid level 4 in a liquid level detector 1 for detecting the height of the liquid level 4 of liquid. The method includes: a first step S10 for applying plating to the terminal 54; a second step S20 for performing press working to bend the terminal 54 so as to generate a crack in a press part 64 of the terminal 54 after the first step S10; a third step S30 for applying a liquid sealing material 92 to the press part 64 after the second step S20; and a fourth step S40 for curing the sealing material 92 to form a sealing film 76 after the third step S30. |
