<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-chromium-base metal surface treating agent having an excellent adhesion property to coating materials and corrosion resistance and excellent coating workability and stability. SOLUTION: This meal surface treating agent contains a water-soluble zirconium component, a water-soluble or water-dispersible acrylic rein and a water-soluble or water-dispersible thermosetting type crosslinking agent. The content of the water-soluble zirconium component is 500 to 15,000 ppm on the basis of mass as zirconium and that of the acrylic resin is 150 to 740 mgKOH/g in solid content aid value and 24 to 240 in solid content hydroxyl value and is 500 to 30,000 ppm on the basis of mass as the solid content. The content of thermosetting type crosslinking agent is 125 to 7,500 ppm on the basis of mass as the solid content.</p> |
