PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive vacuum cleaner without deteriorating appearance, which has secure air tightness between a seal member and a contacting part to the seal member, and which enables light attaching and removal of the contacting part. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is provided with a dust collection part 18 having a suction port 20; a dust collection bag fitted inside the dust collection part 18 and comprising a mouth core 15 having a dust collection mouth 15a and a paper bag 14 arranged on the mouth core 15; and a seal member 12 composed of natural rubber or the like and provided on the suction port 20 so as to contact the circumference of the dust collection mouth 15. The seal member 12 is applied halogen treatment. Thereby, air tightness between the mouth core 15 and the seal member 12 is secured, the mouth core 15 can be attached and removed lightly, and the vacuum cleaner can be provided without deteriorating appearance and at a low price.
