An RBT(Ring Back Tone) service system and a method thereof are provided to additionally comprise a reprocessing server in order to periodically re-download a download-fail sound source, thereby preventing a load increase of a sound source server. A CP(Contents Provider) server(110) provides a personal sound source designated by a mobile terminal subscriber. A sound source server(120) is supplied with the personal sound source by a request of the server, and stores the supplied sound source. NASs(Network Attached Storages)(130) download the stored personal sound source to provide the downloaded sound source to a mobile terminal(150) through a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol). A reprocessing server(140) receives the personal sound source whose synchronization with the NASs fails, and re-executes sound source synchronization with the NASs.
