Overhead or underground connection cable

The cable (1) has a hybrid outer cover in which a micro cable (14) with an optical cable extends without an optical discontinuity, and includes sheaths (11, 12) with proximal and distal ends (110, 120). The proximal ends are connected to a mechanical connector (13), and the distal ends are connected to a distribution cable and a power outlet, respectively. The sheaths provides mechanical properties e.g. flattening resistance and fire resistance, adapted at an outdoor environment and at an indoor of a building, respectively. Each sheath is rolled up from the connection between the sheaths. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a cable.
