<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink repellent partition wall in which desired positions are given an ink repellent nature and color mixing and a void produced when a pixel is formed by an ink jetting method can be effectively prevented, to provide a simple manufacturing method of the ink repellent partition wall and further to provide a color filter having no color mixing between adjacent pixels, a manufacturing method of the color filter with which the color filter can be stably obtained and a liquid crystal display apparatus having no defective display. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the ink repellent partition wall comprises in order a partition wall forming process of forming the partition wall on a substrate, a sticking process of sticking an ink repellent compound having a polymerizable group onto the partition wall and an exposing process of exposing the partition wall where the ink repellent compound sticks with light containing a wavelength to which the ink repellent compound is photosensitive. Further the ink repellent partition wall obtained by this method, the manufacturing method of the color filter using the substrate having the ink repellent partition wall, the color filter manufactured by this method and the liquid crystal display apparatus using this color filter are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
