<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability when displaying an image on a screen. <P>SOLUTION: Images 2A-2D which are objects for display, and an event scroll bar 55<SB>2</SB>for scrolling the display on an LCD panel are displayed on the LCD panel. A cursor 56 for selecting images 2A-2D or the event scroll bar 55<SB>2</SB>is displayed on the LCD panel. When the cursor 56 has selected the images 2A-2D, the cursor selects adjacent images sequentially according to a user's operation. When the cursor 56 has selected the event scroll bar 55<SB>2</SB>, the cursor 56 selects event scroll bars displayed above or below the selected event scroll bar 55<SB>2</SB>sequentially according to a user's operation.
