PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional capsule type endoscope, although transmitting image information by a living body communication to the outside of a subject when two electrodes being exposed on the external surface are brought into contact with the surface of a gastrointestinal duct, enables no proper communication to be performed unless both of the two electrodes are brought into contact with the body wall in the gastrointestinal duct depending on the posture in the image gastrointestinal duct. SOLUTION: For a capsule type endoscopic apparatus, a data transmitting/receiving electrode for transmitting a photographed image signal through the living body communication is formed. On the exterior section of the capsule type endoscopic apparatus, an exterior cover section perforated over the whole body is fitted, and water being present in the subject is held and accumulated in the hole by the surface tension. By the presence of the water in the hole, the image signal is transmitted to a communication apparatus through the water and the subject from the data transmitting/receiving electrode. In addition, a transmission line for the communication signal which is transmitted to the data transmitting/receiving electrode through the subject and the water from the communication apparatus is formed for this intra-subject information acquiring system.
