PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal cationic polymerizable composition capable of being cured in a short time even at a low temperature, and useful as an electric and electronic parts material undesirable to be exposed to high temperatures for a long time, or an adhesive agent and the like for such parts and the like.SOLUTION: A thermal cationic polymerizable composition contains a cationic polymerizable substance, (a) an iodonium salt represented by the formula : Ar-I-ArX, where Arand Arare independently a substituted or unsubstituted aryl and Xis an anion, (b) an organic peroxide, (c) a metal complex, and optionally (d) a compound having an α-hydroxyketone structure. |
