PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of freedom of setting of damper characteristic, and further to improve turning performance of a swing type vehicle.SOLUTION: A swing type vehicle comprises: an upper arm 29 swingably supported by a vehicle body frame 11; a lower arm 30 disposed below the upper arm 29, and swingably supported by the vehicle body frame 11; side members 34, 34 for rotatably connecting between ends 62, 63 of the upper arm 29 and ends 52, 52 of the lower arm 30, respectively; a swing mechanism 64 configured by a swing arm 28 consisted of the upper arm 29 and the lower arm 30, and the side members 34, 34; and a roll damper 31 for suppressing displacement of the swing arm 28 to the vehicle body frame 11. The roll damper 31 is disposed so that, a load in a same direction with an inclination is generated on the roll damper 31, regardless of whether the vehicle is inclined to a right or left side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
