PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading method of ballot paper, a reading device of ballot paper, and a ballot paper sorter capable of improving convenience and reliability related to paper with description of other matters.SOLUTION: A reading method of a piece of ballot paper H includes: acquiring an image inside an entry frame W for a candidate name N on the ballot paper H; specifying the candidate name N written in the entry frame W on the basis of the image; and determining the presence of description of other matters T in the entry frame W on the basis of the presence of pixels not used for the specification of the candidate name N in the acquired image inside the entry frame W. |
