PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveying device capable of conveying a paper sheet by using an air flow generated in a conveyance tube without applying deformation to the paper sheet such as paper money.SOLUTION: An air flow is generated, by an air flow generator, in an extending direction F of a conveyance tube 12, which is a conveying passage of a paper sheet 6. After the paper sheet 6 is inserted into the conveyance tube 12 in an attitude in which its paper face is along the conveyance tube, a conveyance assist object 16 having a cross-sectionally circular column shape is inserted in an upstream of the paper sheet, and conveyance is carried out by pushing and moving a rear end of the paper sheet 6 by the conveyance assist object 16 moved by the air flow. |
