<p>Disclosed herein is a face mill type cutter, such as a rotary ring cutter, having means (39, 46, 50, 52) therein to supply coolant to discharge means (54) located between and/or in the surfaces of stock removing means (32), such as cutting blades, located thereon. Coolant is supplied to the face mill cutter either by a coolant shroud (40) arranged about at least a portion of the periphery of the cutter, or by means (71) arranged in the spindle (12) of a machine tool.</p> |
