PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method which does not give rise to the disappearance of a microcrystal structure in joint parts and the peripheral parts thereof unlike the conventional welding method relating to a method for joining iron- base microcrystals exhibiting excellent characteristics in strength, corrosion resistance, etc. SOLUTION: This method of joining the iron-base materials comprises joining the two microcrystal bodies which are the iron-base microcrystal bodies consisting of iron-base materials not containing an amorphous phase, have their average crystal grain sizes d in a range of 10<d<=5×10<3> in nm size and are same kind or different kind in terms of chemical components and crysttallography by a friction stir welding method. |
