PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of image quality caused by the interference of light not to be used for scanning processing with light to be used for the scanning processing or the leakage of the light to a photoreceptive medium. SOLUTION: Pipes 53, 63, 73, 83 and 93 having a through-hole piercing in an axial direction inside a light non-transmitting member and a cover 100 are arranged between a laser beam source 103, an AOM 113, a reflection mirror 123, an expander lens 133, a cylindrical lens 143 and a dichroic mirror 53 or between the mirror 153, a polygon mirror 160 and an fθlens 170 with respect to the light source 103. Then, only the laser beam 183 and first-order diffracted light 183a pass through the respective through-holes.
