The system has a central processing unit transmitting digital data via a telecommunication network towards a receiver (R) of a user. The digital data provided to the receiver are selected according to geographical position of the receiver. The position is determined by a global positioning system type position determination module connected to the receiver. An independent claim is also included for a method of broadcasting digital information from a server.
