Process for the optimized operation of a reheating furnace

The process integrates a mathematical model to calculate values to be used to control the heat of the furnace. It takes into account the variables of the rolling stock for example its surface temperature or temperature distribution and/or control variables such as part timing or the temperature in different zones of the furnace. It calculates required values for quantities of gas and air, as well as furnace temperatures and discharge times.
