PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of efficiently replenish developer, collecting an agent to be collected and performing various kinds of processing of containers of the developer and the agent to be collected by simple operations and an agent container used for the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having a developing device 8 which develops an electrostatic latent image formed in a photo conductor 4, a developer replenishment device which replenishes the developer to the development device 8 and a cleaning device 10 which removes toner remaining in an image carrier after image transfer, excess or unnecessary developer discharged from the inside of the developer 8 is stored in a collected agent container 90 which collects and stores the toner removed by the cleaning device 10.
