PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone water generator and an ozone water generation method which enable the simple generation of a small amount of ozone water, easy use of the ozone water in daily life, and generation of high concentration ozone water suitable for the purpose of sterilization and the like. SOLUTION: The ozone water generator 100 comprises a water tank 1 filled with raw water, and an ozone-generating electrode 2 which is immersed in the water tank 1, and made by bringing an anode electrode 22 into tight contact with one surface of a cation exchange membrane 21 and bringing a cathode electrode 23 into tight contact with the other surface of the cation exchange membrane 21. A direct current is applied between the anode electrode 22 and the cathode electrode 23 to bring a water stream into continuous contact with the surface of the anode electrode 22.
