PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight inorganic plate body made light in weight and having excellent strength and stiffness without increasing specific gravity so much high and a method of manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The lightweight inorganic plate like body comprises calcium silicate hydrate, a woody reinforcing material, a hydraulic inorganic material and an inorganic lightweight body, wherein the content of the hydraulic inorganic material is 20-185 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass calcium silicate hydrate and the content of the inorganic lightweight body is 3.5-25 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass calcium silicate hydrate.
