<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the prediction of tire performances such as noise performance of a tire with a pattern formed of a plurality of land parts. <P>SOLUTION: Various kinds of conditions are determined by creating as an acoustic tube model a space formed between a tire model and road surface by a FEM (finite element method) (Steps 100-110). Then, acoustic characteristic analysis is executed by a boundary element method (Step 112) to evaluate an analysis result in an observation point (Steps 114, 116). By simulating the acoustic characteristic through the utilization of the boundary element method, the noise radiation characteristic is essentially contained by a tread pattern of a tire can be practically and easily evaluated.
