[PROBLEMS] A roll-up shutter having excellent fire protection performance, capable of being quickly opened and closed, and capable of using a large-sized shutter curtain. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Each slat (18) of the shutter curtain (12) of the roll-up shutter (10) is an aluminum alloy profile member having a predetermined cross-sectional shape. The profile member has a pair of side face walls, an upper edge section for connecting together side edge sections on the upper side of the pair of side face walls, and a lower edge section for connecting together side end edges on the lower side of the pair of side face walls. A labyrinth (50) is formed by and between the lower edge section (42) of the upper of two vertically adjacent slats and the upper edge section (40) of the lower. Also, when vertically two adjacent slats have different amounts of bending deformation caused by a temperature difference between both side faces of each slat, no gap is formed between the two slats because the lower edge section of the upper slat and the upper edge section of the lower slat are engaged with each other.
