A mover for a linear motor is provided to enhance the efficiency of the motor by having a non-magnetic permanent magnet attachment guide without magnetic eddy. A mover(300) for a linear motor includes a mover frame(400), a permanent magnet attachment guide(70), and a compression member. A plurality of permanent magnets(50) are attached to the mover frame. The permanent magnet attachment guide is made of a non-magnetic material and coupled with the mover frame to guide attachment positions of the permanent magnets. The compression member compensates for an interval between the permanent magnets to fix the permanent magnets and the permanent magnet attachment guide to the mover frame.
