<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data generation device or the like for generating output image data when arranging a plurality of object images to be printed on one form and for outputting the image data with proper layout following the desire of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The image data generation device for generating output image data for arranging the plurality of the object images to be printed whose output sizes are designated on one print medium for printing includes: a preview display means for displaying the layout state of the plurality of the object images to a user; and a data generation means for generating the image data to be output in an arrangement state by receiving a print execution instruction from the user for the displayed layout storage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
