PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and low cost drum type washer-dryer capable of securing the distance between a casing and a water tank or other parts which are elastically supported while securing reliability. SOLUTION: A dehumidifying means accommodating chamber 35 constituting a dehumidifying section is arranged adjacent to the upper site of the lateral peripheral face of the water tank 22, and the drum type washer-dryer has a constitution of securing a suspension 29 to the lateral peripheral wall of the dehumidifying means accommodating chamber 35, so that the distance between the casing 25 and the water tank 22 or other parts which are elastically supported is secured to prevent the collision between the parts.
