<p>An electrostatic actuator capable of not only linearly moving a moving sheet along the surface of a drive sheet but also of rotating the moving sheet. The electrostatic actuator comprises the drive sheet (1) having a first drive area (11) and a second drive area (12) the drive directions of which are positioned in the same linear direction and which are arranged parallel to each other in the direction perpendicular to the drive direction and driven independently of each other. The moving sheet (2) is so disposed as to face the surface of the drive sheet (1). The first moving area (2A) of the moving sheet (2) which faces the first drive area (11) obtains a drive force from the first drive area (11) and the second moving area (2B) thereof which faces the second drive area (12) obtains a drive force from the second drive area (12) for moving the moving sheet (2) relative to the drive sheet (1).</p> |
