PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a super abrasive grain wire saw having long service life.SOLUTION: A super abrasive grain wire saw 1 includes a core wire 50, and a super abrasive grain layer 40 formed on the surface of the core wire 50. The core wire 50 includes a wire 10, a primary plated layer 20 formed on the surface of the wire 10, and a secondary plated layer 30 formed on the surface of the primary plated layer 20 and having a composition different from that of the primary plated layer 20. The primary plated layer 20 is constituted of nickel plating or brass plating. The secondary plated layer 30 is constituted of copper plating. |
