Provided is a low-cost electroacoustic transducer in which, without damaging the shape of a vibrating body having a pair of curvedly-formed vibrating surfaces, the vibrating body is firmly connected to a converting unit such as a voice coil motor. An electroacoustic transducer is provided with: a vibrating body 1 in which a pair of longitudinally divided cylindrical surfaces 5 are formed in parallel, and a valley 6 is formed between respective side sections of the longitudinally divided cylindrical surfaces 5, the side sections being adjacent; and an actuator 2 that drives the vibrating body 1 back and forth along the depth direction of the valley 6. The valley 6 of the vibrating body 1 is formed via a junction part where the paired longitudinally divided cylindrical surfaces 5 are joined to one another. A belt-like part 13, of which the width direction is set as the depth direction of the valley 6, is provided to the base of the valley 6 along the extensional direction of the valley 6. The actuator 2 is connected to a position that is midway along the length direction of the belt-like part 13, and a connecting part that connects the actuator to the belt-like part is formed so as to extend in the width direction of the belt-like part 13. |
