ELECTROACOUSTIC TRANSDUCER

Provided is a low-cost electroacoustic transducer that can reliably transmit vibration between a converting unit, such as a voice coil motor, and a vibrating body having a pair of curvedly-formed vibrating surfaces, across the entire lengthwise direction of the vibrating body. An electroacoustic transducer is provided with: a vibrating body 1 in which a pair of longitudinally divided cylindrical surfaces 5 are formed in parallel, and a valley 6 is formed between respective side sections of the longitudinally divided cylindrical surfaces 5, the side sections being adjacent; and an actuator 2 that drives the vibrating body 1 back and forth along the depth direction of the valley 6. The valley 6 of the vibrating body 1 is formed via a junction part where the paired longitudinally divided cylindrical surfaces 5 are joined to one another. A reinforcement part 13 is provided to the junction part along the extensional direction of the valley 6. The actuator 2 is connected to a position that is midway along the lengthwise direction of the reinforcement part 13.
