A mobile terminal according to the present invention can perform various functions related to a voice according to a user gesture, which is applied after the voice is input. A mobile terminal according to the present invention, as an example related to the present invention, comprises: a touch screen formed to sense a touch; a microphone formed to receive a voice; a memory configured to store voice data corresponding to the voice received through the microphone; and a control unit for activating the microphone on the basis of application of a drag touch, which starts from a first point on the touch screen while lighting of the touch screen is deactivated, the control unit keeping the microphone activated continuously while the drag touch is held on a second point on the touch screen, wherein the control unit stores a voice, which has been input while the microphone is activated, in the memory when the drag touch held on the second point is released and performs a function that matches with a voice command, which corresponds to the voice that has been input through the microphone, when the drag touch that has been held on the second point moves to a third point, which is different from the second point. In addition, various functions can be performed using the voice that has been input according to the state of the touch screen. |
