PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that most of connectors for electric wires with shields adaptive to large current electrification are used for electric vehicles or hybrid automobiles but a connector for an electric wire with a shield of which the structure is simplified and which is easily assembled in spite of having high water-tightness and flexibility to immune to vibration cannot be found.SOLUTION: A connector for an electric wire with a shield comprises: a cylindrical connector body; and a cylindrical clamp holder threaded to the connector body. A portion closer to a front-side opening at an inner diameter side of the connector body and a portion closer to a rear-side opening include tapered slopes and at an inner diameter side of the clamp holder, an inversely tapered slope is provided. By fitting a packing having a tapered cross section and a cylindrical clamp material having an inversely tapered cross section to the slopes, water-tightness is secured and by forming an arcuate large diameter portion in a rear opening end of the clamp holder, flexibility is obtained. |
