PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumber support capable of enhancing stability of operation parts during an operation, smoothly moving the lumber support, and simplifying a structure concerning the lumber support that is vertically movably arranged in a backrest of a chair, and also to provide the chair where the lumber support is arranged in the backrest.SOLUTION: A lumber support 100 is to be vertically movably arranged in a backrest of a chair and is formed of a flexible plate material. A slit 115 is arranged in a horizontal direction on the front surface of the lumber support, and a portion upper than the slit 115 is defined as an upper independent flexible part 116 and a portion lower than the slit 115 is defined as a lower independent flexible part 117. Operation parts 119 that are protruded backward and work for a vertical movement operation are arranged at right and left opening edges of the slit 115 in the rear surface. |
