The present invention is a propellant tank used, for example, for a fuel tank 6 or an oxidizer tank of a spacecraft, and which discharges, toward a rocket engine, liquid hydrogen or liquid oxygen stored therein when the tank is internally pressurized by a working gas. The propellant tank is provided with: a tank body 11 for storing therein a liquid-state propellant; and a retention/storage part 12 which is disposed inside the tank body 11 with a predetermined gap from the inner wall of the tank body 11, and which is capable of retaining therein the liquid-state propellant when the inside of the tank body 11 is in a microgravity or zero-gravity state.
