PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide of an active scanning method for a radio network including two transmitters.SOLUTION: The method may include the execution of the following steps: detecting a first probe request having a scanning target originated from a first transmitter; requesting to transmit a probe request from a second transmitter to the scanning target; and canceling a second probe request on condition that the second transmitter detects the first probe request.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
