PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device in which a display defect due to ionic impurities is improved, and to provide an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device comprises: an element substrate 10 as a first substrate provided with a pixel region E where a plurality of pixel electrodes 15 are arranged at one surface side; a counter substrate 20 as a second substrate provided with a common electrode 23 to which common potential is applied; a seal member 40 for bonding the element substrate 10 and the counter substrate 20 together; and a liquid crystal layer 50 supported in a region surrounded with the seal member 40. The element substrate 10 includes: constant potential wiring 121s as a first wiring layer to which first potential being potential lower than the common potential is applied between the pixel region E and the seal member 40 as viewed in a plan view; and a peripheral electrode 141 as a second wiring layer that is provided so as to overlap with at least a part of the constant potential wiring 121s as viewed in the plan view while being provided between the constant potential wiring 121s and the liquid crystal layer 50 and is applied with second potential being potential higher than the common potential.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
