PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a twisted wire, which can reduce an installation space and improve workability, and a method for manufacturing a twisted wire.SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for manufacturing a twisted wire is configured to secure a space necessary for manufacturing a twisted wire 102 in not only a horizontal direction but also in a vertical direction. The apparatus has a configuration including a wire overlapping unit 3 disposed in an apparatus upstream side, a twisting unit 4 disposed in an apparatus downstream side of the wire overlapping unit 3, and a wire pulling unit 5 disposed together with the twisting unit 4. In order to automate the manufacture of the twisted wire 102, it is effective to install a tape supply unit 6 together with the twist unit 4. It is also effective to include a wire conveyance unit 2 capable of conveying and supplying a wire 101 from the apparatus upstream side of the wire overlapping unit 3 to each downstream unit in the configuration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
