PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet housing device and an image formation device capable of attaching a paper feeding cassette to a device body even if the paper feeding cassette is pushed into the device body in a release prohibited state by a release prohibiting means, preventing damage on a stopper part and a stopped part.SOLUTION: A release prohibiting means such as a locking device 20 is so configured as to regulate movement from a first position such as a home position of an operation member 30 to a second position such as a release position, and a release means such as a release mechanism 40 is so configured that a stopped part 42a can move from a stop position to a stop releasing position without moving the operation member 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
