PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxidized polymer not containing residual catalyst components and excellent in heat stability and a method for efficiently, industrially and advantageously producing the epoxidized polymer. SOLUTION: This method for producing an epoxidized polymer comprises carrying out epoxidation reaction of a polymer having an olefinic double bond with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a catalyst composed of (1) a tungsten compound, (2) a phosphoric acid compound and (3) a phase-transfer catalyst, washing the resultant reaction mixture solution with water, bringing the reaction mixture solution into contact with activated carbon to remove the catalyst component and recovering the resultant epoxidized polymer.
