PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately arithmetically operate a pulse wave propagation speed in a local part of a blood vessel. SOLUTION: A bloodstream speed and blood pressure of a local part in the blood vessel are measured. Operation periods 310 and 312 supposed to generate only an advancing wave are set according to a wave intensity value, and the pulse wave propagation speed is calculated from time differential of the blood pressure and time differential of the bloodstream speed in the respective periods. |
