PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that matches with upscale design and adopts the storage method of a speaker, a microphone, or the like. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises an imaging apparatus body having an imaging lens body; a slide cover that is arranged in the imaging apparatus body, has a lens cover for protecting the imaging lens body, and is slidable in a prescribed direction; and the speaker and/or the microphone that is not exposed in outer space when the slide cover is in a position for covering the imaging lens body, and that is exposed in the outer space when the slide cover is in a position for exposing the imaging lens body.
