SOLUTION: The use of the highly branched and/or dendritic polyol with a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 500-100,000 g/mol and an average hydroxy group per molecule of 10 to 1,000, as a polyol for the production of the polyurethane foam with a higher ratio of compressive strength to density, the two-component foam system for the production of the polyurethane foam with the higher ratio of the compressive strength to the density, with a polyisocyanate component and a component containing a compound having a reactive hydrogen atom, which are present in separate containers and, for use, can be caused to react by being mixed, and the use of the two-component foam system as a foam for the installation of door and window frames or of staircases and as fire protection foam for sealing openings and piercing parts in walls and ceilings of a building are provided.
