PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively check the measuring condition of a timer function even when other function is selected than the timer function during its measuring operation (making a mail or watching a television, utilizing the time idling until the timer times up). SOLUTION: When other function than a timer function (main function, television function, etc.) during operation of the timer function is selected to output and show a screen corresponding to the selected function on a main indicator 12, a CPU 1 decides whether a specified time lapsed, before time up (e.g., 10 seconds before the time being up). If several time exists before the specified time; the CPU drives the main indicator 12, a backside speaker 8, a vibration motor 16, etc. to interrupt-report the measurement condition of the timer function until the time being up, from the specified time.
