A collapsible wheel chair (100) with a liftable seat has a seat (20) placed at a machine frame (5) such that a user can sit on it, a seat holding section (30) for collapsibly holding the seat (20), a lifting unit (40) for lifting and lowering the seat (20) through the seat holding section (30), and a pair of X-links (25) provided at the machine frame (5) so as to face each other in the front-rear direction and enabling the machine frame (5) to be folded in the left-right direction. In collapsing the wheelchair (100), the pivoting loci of both ends of the seat (20) and those of the upper ends of the X-links (25) substantially match, with a predetermined interval in between them. The construction enables the collapsible wheelchair (100) with the liftable seat to be smoothly collapsed.
