The ventilator has a control plate on which adjustment blades are mounted parallel to a respective pivoting axis on a fixed tubular body (10). A guiding strip (50) is fixed on a movable tubular body at a level of opposed slots and is threaded in an orifice arranged in the plate and in diametrically opposed holes (16) arranged in the body (10). The strip is displaced in the holes when the movable body is driven in rotation on the body (10) such that the strip displaces the plate to pivot the blades between opening and closing positions during rotation of the movable body on the body (10).
