SOLUTION: A method for extracting only the physical quantity changing corresponding to a specific phenomenon includes steps for setting the radius distance of a range where the similar physical quantity is observed in the specific phenomenon, acquiring the difference between the physical quantity of all reference sampling points within a prescribed range at a plurality of points of time and the physical quantity in a prescribed number of all other reference sampling points separated from the sampling points by a radius distance as a plurality of differential function groups that are time functions, obtaining (the maximum value of the differential function)/(average value along the time axis of the differential function) as a wave height rate for each differential function, and determining points of time and points where the values of the differential functions are maximized to be points of time and locations where the specific phenomenon has occurred in a differential function having the largest wave height rate value.
