PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane cartridge preventing exfoliation of a filter membrane by a cleaning liquid, when cleaning the membrane cartridge by jetting the cleaning liquid. SOLUTION: A plurality of membrane cartridges 34 are provided in parallel with given spaces in the casing of a dipping type membrane separation apparatus, circumferential part of the filter membrane 50 is welded to the surface of a filter plate 49 of the membrane cartridges 34, and a protruded part 60 surrounding the outside of the circumferential part of the filter membrane 50 is formed on the filter plate 49.
