PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and reliable rotor of rotary electric machine by suppressing the demagnetization of a permanent magnet without dropping the properties of a motor. SOLUTION: The rotor for rotary electric machine, where each of a plurality of rotor cores 2, that are constituted, being stacked, includes a plurality of permanent magnets 6a and 6b that are split axially for every rotor core 2 in its circumferential direction and unevenness is formed magnetically in its circumferential direction, includes a rotor die-cut plate 14a consisting of a nonmagnetic material between the adjacent rotor cores 2 of the plurality of rotor cores 2.
