PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reproduce user's favorite image by adding a favorite code to the data of the favorite image. SOLUTION: Shot image data of a subject are recorded on a memory card 62 in a compressed state. To each of image data stored on the memory card 62, a favorite code can be added arbitrarily. Information of image data to which the favorite code has been added is recorded in a favorite file 66 within the memory card 62. When a jump reproduction mode is selected by the operation of a mode key 18, a set key 20 and a jump key 24 in reproduction, only the image data, to which the favorite code has been added, becomes objects of reproduction.
