PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuner receiving unit and high-frequency receiving apparatus using the same in which the reception quality signal can be outputted, regardless of the presence or the absence of interference signal. SOLUTION: There are provided a reception quality detecting unit to which first and second gain control voltages are inputted and from which a reception quality signal is outputted, and a second output terminal from which the reception quality signal is outputted. Thus, in the reception quality detecting unit, the reception quality signal can be outputted from the second output terminal regardless of the presence/absence of interference signal. By using the reception quality signal, reception quality can be accurately displayed on a screen. Furthermore, the detection of reception quality is performed by always using first and second AGC voltages, so that the reception quality can be instantaneously detected. For this reason, even during a high-speed moving in an ever-changing reception status, reception conditions can be displayed smoothly on the screen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
