PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device by which a device which performs a store operation can monitor itself while performing the operation. SOLUTION: This SSLAN-LAN protocol converter is provided with: an SSLAN master protocol part 31 which communicates with an SSLAN slave device; an SSLAN slave protocol part 32 which communicates with an SSLAN master unit; an RS 485 monitor function part 33 which monitors an RS 485 line; and an application 2 which selects to function any of the SSLAN master protocol part, the SSLAN slave protocol part, and the RS 485 monitor function part, and outputs monitor data by performing SSLAN-LAN protocol conversion when the RS 485 monitor function part is selected.
